August Stars    New!

This quilt is from the Whimsicals book entitled "Pumpkins and Spice". The author loves scrappy quilts, but she calls this one controlled scrappy. She started it in August, therefore the title. Our kit contains the fabrics for the front and back of the quilt and has enough variety to be called scrappy. The quilt measures 50" square. Please call if you need the book in addition to the quilt kit. The book price is $24.

Summertime

Did you ever want to make a Baltimore Album quilt, but you knew never in your lifetime would you finish it? Summertime is a folk art version of a Baltimore Album quilt. It's beauty is in it's simplicity. The quilt only uses 5 colors: red, black, brown, green and gold. The kit uses wool for the applique because it is so wonderful to work with and it is addicting. The background and border fabrics are all cotton prints.

Star Light Star Bright - Civil War Fabrics

This quilt has 12 different quilt block patterns. Each block is made in 3 sizes, 12", 9" and 6". Just a little bit of simple applique and the blocks makes this very unique quilt. The kit is available in two different color ways. The pictures here are of the Civil War fabric version. Look at the large picture version to see a close up of the actual fabric used in the borders. The middle border has a beige background and the outer border is dark navy. You will enjoy the excellent instructions by the designer - Bits 'n Pieces.

Flannel Fresh Cut    New!

This quilt is a lot of fun to make and can be pulled together easily from a mix of colors. Our quilt was made using bright pastel flannel. The instructions in this pattern will guide you through the cutting process with or without the ruler (Sraight Our of Line by Creative Grids); however, using the ruler will provide you with the perfect cut every time as well as the option to choose many different blocks sizes. The ruler can be purchased separately in the product listing. The pattern is included in the kit price.

30's Nine Patch

The simple pattern gives a very authentic look to this quilt kit in 30's fabrics. The background fabric is muslin and the green outer border is authentic 30's green. Pattern is included.

Vines Along the Old Rail Fence

A basic rail fence pattern serves as the background for this quilt. The fabrics are all from fabric collections by Kansas Troubles Quilters from Moda. All the applique is wool - so easy to work with and adds a great dimension to this quilt. The applique can be done by machine or by hand.
