Every week (well almost every week) I write a few lines telling you what is new at the Quilt Corner. I also like to include quilting tips once in a while. If you have any great tips, please e-mail them to me.

The Piano quilt uses log cabin blocks to make the piano. The quilt was designed by Pam Boras and published by The Quilt Corner. The instructions for the quilt are written in 16", 24", and 33" sizes. The pattern is available for $9 postage paid by writing or calling The Quilt Corner. It is also available on the quilt Kits page of our shopping cart.

Quilt Corner Quilt Club

Quilt Club at the Quilt Corner meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10:00 am or 6:30 pm. At each meeting a project is presented and the club members are given a picture and directions for making the projects as well as tips for piecing and finishing. All the new tips are given for piecing and finishing the quilt project. All new items that have arrived at the shop since the last month are shown and discussed. Show and tell by the members concludes each meeting.

As a bonus, Quilt Club members are given a 10% discount on all their purchases at The Quilt Corner. If you have not joined us in the past, we welcome you to attend a meeting to see what our meetings are like at no charge.

Yearly dues: $40.

Wool Club

Wool club meets at the Quilt Corner on the first Friday of each month.

Each month at Wool club you can sit with your friends or make new ones and work on wool projects. Mary Jo and Char will be your hostesses and help you with any questions or techniques. From time to time you will receive free patterns for small fun projects.

Club members will receive a 10% discount on wool supplies purchased that evening.

Dues: $20 for 6 months

Handi Quilter Club

Handi Quilter Club meets the second Monday of the odd numbered months at 1 pm or 6 pm.

Join Sue Krause, our resident HQ artist, for sessions that will help you become a creative quilter on your machine. She will feature a new topic each month and help with any problems you might have. Of course, Show and Tell is a fun time to share what you have been doing.

Dues: $20/year

	Surprises, like this set of country red dishes, are part of the flavor of The Quilt Corner. Our shop was established in 1988 and, with 5000 square feet of floor space, it is one of the largest Illinois quilt shops. With over 4500 bolts of fabric to choose from you are sure to find something you've never seen before.
